New premises and growth at Electus

 18th Sep 2014

Bournemouth based technical and engineering recruiter, Electus Recruitment Solutions, have been successfully trading for 11 years and have ambitions plans to expand within the next 18 months. The business has reported year on year growth since the downturn in 2009 and are now relocating to newly refurbished premises which will double the current floor space and offer its staff a modern, fun working environment. The new office includes a games room with a pool table and playstation to allow the consultants work hard as well as play hard!

The new office address is: Richmond House, Richmond Hill, Bournemouth, BH26EZ

They have already taken on 2 new starters this month and have another 2 joining next month with further interviews being conducted. Earlier in the year Electus rebranded with a new logo and also launched their new website.

Despite the positive activity,  the management team are aware that growing too fast may have an adverse affect on how they are perceived by their clients and could be detrimental to the service they provide if the expansion is not managed effectively.

Client Development Manager, Lee Dougan has been looking at how these changes may impact those relationships. He said “ We are essentially looking to double in size within the next 18-24 months. Our aims are ambitious but sensible and we will only recruit right people if we don’t find the right people, we won’t hire, it’s that simple. This isn’t an exercise just to fill the space or hit employee growth targets and we don’t want to become a large corporate entity. We have a strong reputation and brand built around relationship building, consistency and personal touches and we feel that this would be lost if we had the high attrition rates and saturation of middle managers you find in larger recruitment businesses.”

He added “ If we do this right, and we believe we will, then we are confident that we will be seen as the recruiter of choice for many of the technical and engineering firms in the UK and also the employer of choice for the best recruiters in our market.”
