Job Title: Software Product Architect
Location: Hampshire

Our client is a global leader in aerospace, defence and related services and they are
looking for a someone to be the technical lead for the development of the software product solutions. Responsibilities will include the product software architecture, product technical roadmap, software design and product integration and Test.

The successful Software Product Architect will be Degree Qualified or equivalent, in Software, Electronics or Communications Engineering.

Skills and Experience: Essential:
Comprehensive post-grad experience in OO software design, using the UML and model-driven development.
Technical Team leading experience.
Experience of designing workstation-based Web/GUI/Database applications, or experience of hardware/equipment interfacing and Control & Monitoring.
Experience of C++/Java/XML.
Experience of software integration testing and support


Skills and Experience: Desirable:
Experience of DOORS requirements management.
Knowledge of Rational Clearcase configuration Management.
Knowledge of communications systems Network Management.
Experience of performing software development using defined, controlled processes ( CMMI, ISO 15504).
