Job Title: Senior Development Engineer / Design Verification Engineer
Location: Dorset, South West, Bournemouth, Poole, Wimborne, Ringwood, Weymouth, Dorchester, Southampton, Hampshire


Salary £30000 to £40000
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

This role is for a Senior Development/Design Verification Engineer who will be responsible for leading and delivering the verification activities from formulating verification strategies to coordinating and delivering formal qualification tests and test reports on all Products. Identification of, and establish activities required to support qualification. Generation and approvals of key verification documentation including, management plans, qualification plans, verification matrices test procedures and reports. Identification and management of qualification test hardware. Identifying and estimation of costs and task durations. Management and conduct of qualification tests. Generation of compliance and analysis statements Co-ordination of support from/to other departments; design, performance, stress etc. Co-ordination of qualification plans/schedules with programmes Liaison with customers and suppliers. Technical Skills/Experience Clear understanding of Verification/Qualification criteria. Experience of Environmental testing. Experience of generating formal qualification documentation. Familiar with Industry standards; RTCA 160D, DEF STAN 00-35 and MIL STD 810 Good IT skills. Knowledge of Refuelling or similar types of systems preferable
