You will be successful in this role if you are a skilled professional in the defence sector with experience in managing financial, commercial and procurement activities.
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens. About the Role:
- Analyse financial data: track discrepancies, investigate expenditure, analyse performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities for facilities management, security, and HSE.
- Manage budgets: prepare and submit budgets, monitor spending, identify anomalies, and ensure effective financial controls for invoice processing and recharging.
- Support contract management: help develop tenders, analyse and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and compliant services.
About You:
- Must have experience in commercial, OpEx financial and procurement activities in a defence organisation or a similar highly regulated industry.
- Experience with facilities management – both hard and soft services.
- Ability to build operational budgets.
- Understanding of contract management including service contracts.
- Supervisory leadership experience.
