A top engineering and technology consultancy seeks a talented Senior Nuclear Systems Modelling Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting clients' mission-critical design and safety decisions within the rapidly evolving new-nuclear sector.
What You'll Do
- Develop and refine advanced nuclear systems models (using codes like RELAP, GOTHIC, etc.)
- Analyze fault sequences and transients to ensure safe and optimized design
- Provide expert insight on complex thermohydraulic phenomena
- Guide and support model validation processes
- Experience with nuclear systems codes (RELAP, GOTHIC, CATHARE, TRACE, VIPRE, S5K, etc.)
- Robust understanding of thermal hydraulics and multiphase flows
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage projects independently and communicate effectively with clients
- Coding skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.)
- Project leadership experience
- Proposal writing and business development acumen
