Our client is a leading UK supplier of secure end-to-end communications to the MoD and they are looking for a Senior Test and Verification Engineer to manage the work of a team of up to 9 Network Test Engineers and ensure the technical solution is tested in a timely, cost efficient manner that will meet the needs of the programme.
The successful Senior Test Engineer will need to have degree (or equivalent) level qualification in an appropriate engineering or scientific discipline.
It is essential for the successful Senior Test Engineer to have the following skills:
Substantial test analyst experience
Experienced in use of Microsoft Project or similar planning tool
Experience of projects involving multiple suppliers using varying delivery and test approaches
Knowledge and experience of IEEE829 and BS7925-2
Proven experience in an industry standard Test Management and Defect Management tool
Understanding of Problem, Change, Release and Configuration Management processes
Additionally, a broad understanding of the Prince2 project management methodology and experience of test tools for automation and performance monitoring, would be of benefit.
