Our client is a world leader in particle analysis and rheological instrumentation. They are looking to recruit a Software Engineer to provide customer-focused instrumentation software.  My client will consider recent graduates and more experienced engineers
 
The software engineer will come from a high technology or a scientific background and have solid Windows programming experience working at the systems and user interface level.  
 
The successful candidate will be involved in all stage of the product lifecycle - Requirements, Analysis, Design, Testing, Release and Support.  
 
Skills and qualifications
 
Essential
Graduate in software engineering or equivalent
High-technology/scientific background
Development of software systems architecture
Experience of Agile methodologies
Experience with MFC and Visual C++ or C# / .net and OO design.
Proven track record in working effectively to project timescales
Able to travel and work with teams across the globe

Knowledge material characterisation instruments
Experience of embedded systems
Good mechanical aptitude
Experience of system modelling / analysis using tools eg. MATLAB
Familiarity of working in a ISO9000/TickIT environment producing validatable code
