About the Role

*Providing effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and provide back up and support to the IT Management Team.
*The role requires the individual to have enthusiasm and willingness in supporting all aspects of the IT services, assisting other teams where required.
*The position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the IT environment, including the operating systems and applications in use, plus general maintenance of all IT related hardware/software.
*To provide 1st/2nd line technical assistance to internal employees via phone, email or onsite visits.
*To monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks.
*Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems and applications. Support in the monitoring and maintenance of all required IT systems to required service and availability levels.
*Provide support to the following IT Operations:
-Desktops/Laptops
-Networks
-Servers
-Telephony & Communications
-Applications & ERP system
-Security
-Mobile phones
*Responding to, documenting and resolving all tasks/tickets assigned to them by the Service Desk to a satisfactory close and within the timescales set by the SLA whilst keeping the requester up to date on the status.

You will have the following experience:

*Ideally the candidate will have experience of a 1st/2nd line service desk environment; training will be provided where appropriate.
*Excellent knowledge of using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products.
*Strong working knowledge of Windows based systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008-16).
*Good working knowledge of Windows technologies including Active Directory and Exchange.
*Good working knowledge of networking including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
*Basic PC hardware setup and configuration.
*Mobile phone Support.
*Cisco IP Phone Support is desirable

*Salary - Negotiable depending on experience
