Job Description

Our client operates a fleet of geosynchronous satellites, providing global communications services to users in the maritime, air and land-based sectors.

They are currently seeking an Enterprise Business Analyst to join their team in London.

The Enterprise Business Analyst will play a key role in the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) to drive the transformation of the team to a data driven organisation, delivering managed services. The Business Analyst will assess the EBU's performance against budget and strategy, producing internal management-level reports and will support business cases and financial modelling to facilitate decisions on new markets and product development initiatives.

They are looking for a strong Business Analyst with experience of working in large organisations and on large volumes of data. The role is to analyse and report on financial data, using SalesForce and Tableau packages. The jobholder will analyse big data, using BI tools and modelling to understand that data, present it to the business and advise on best use of that data.

You will:
*Manipulate large quantities of complex data to extract meaningful content and deliver clear and accurate business information for key stakeholders.
*Develop and enhance internal business performance reporting tools.
*Work with key stakeholders to define reporting requirements and continually improve the relevance of reporting.
*Ensure reporting is aligned with the EBU strategic and business priorities.
*Contribute to the EBU budget and business planning process.
*Identify key analytics and metrics to be included in management reporting.
*Be the expert for analytical tools (ie Tableau, Ibis, SFDC) for the EBU.
*Advise the EBU on the Analyst community and availability of wider resources.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant professional subject, with experience in a similar Business Analyst role.

You will have:
*Experience in data modelling and analysis.
*Strong analytical skills coupled with good business understanding.
*Expertise in developing and utilising BI tools to drive business decisions and value.
*Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.
*Strong people skills, confident and comfortable at engaging collaboratively in an intellectual and multi-cultural environment.
*Strong verbal and written communications skills.
*A strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a passion for excellence and innovation.
*Knowledge of business process management and operations.

In addition to the above, experience in the use of Salesforce and Tableau would be desirable

You will also need to be willing to travel and work across cultures and time zones.
