Job Description

Our client who specialises in the design and manufacture of a diverse range of connectors and interconnect products for a highly demanding customer base in the Aerospace, Military and Industrial sectors. Is looking for a Pragmatic Business Development Manager to create sustainable and organic sales growth by developing a new portfolio of loyal domestic accounts across multiple markets. Using differentiation to sell our products, services, and capabilities against our competition.

As part of your role you will be responsible for:

Interfaces between customers and other functions within the organisation to provide service to new and developing customers
Ensures that responses to customer inquiries are completed on a timely basis to achieve service and quality standards
Informs customers of new product/technologies and services
Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organisation's and competitors' products and/or services
Specifically, responsible for developing new business from new accounts for backshells and service orientated value-add business (MRO&CA / Higher Level Assemblies)
Develops strategic plans for the Export business development and responsible for achieving profitable growth in line with the business objective
Conducts joint visits with engineering, sales, and other relevant departments and provides feedback to the business
Responsible for achieving sales and order intake, as well as budgets and forecasts
Travel, UK and International as required to meet the demands of the role.

Liaising with engineering functions
Developing a clear scope of work
Developing custom solutions
Experience working in an engineering/marketing/product role or within an engineering/marketing/product environment
Creating, monitoring and revising lead generation plans
Market knowledge (Aerospace, Defence, Civil, and Industrial)
