A home-based opportunity with travel across South East to be an interface between customers and other functions within the organisation has presented itself. The ideal candidate has experience working in an engineering, marketing or product role, connector product knowledge and market knowledge of Aerospace or Defence sector.
About the role:
*Interfaces between customers and other functions within the organisation to provide service to new and developing customers;
*Ensures that responses to customer enquiries are completed in a timely basis to achieve service and quality standards;
*Informs customers of new product/technologies and services;
*Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to generate a substantive sales opportunity pipeline;
*Maintains up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the organisation's and competitors' products and/or services
*Submits reports detailing sales statistics such as order levels, margin level, call rates, leads, etc.;
*Specifically, responsible for developing new business from new accounts;
*Manages performance through key performance indicators;
*Develops strategic plans for business development and responsible for achieving profitable growth in line with the business objective;
*Conducts customer visits per month by ensuring a planned geographical approach is instigated;
*Conducts joint visits with engineering, sales and other relevant departments and provides feedback to the business;
*Responsible for achieving sales and order intake, as well as budgets and forecasts
You will have the following experience
*Business Development/ Sales experience (selling products in to the Defence sector ideally)
*Coordinating forecast order and revenue data
*Developing new customers
*Multi Market Customers
*Commercial decision making
*Strategic / Business planning
*Liaising with engineering functions
*Developing a clear scope of work
*Developing custom solutions
*Experience working in an engineering/marketing/product role or within an engineering/marketing/product environment
*Creating, monitoring and revising lead generation plans
*Connector Product knowledge
*Market and competitor knowledge (Aerospace, Defence)
