As a Business Development Manager, specifically looking after Maritime Systems it will be your responsibility to lead defence Maritime related business development and capture activities in the United Kingdom.

Ideally you will have a technical background or current knowledge of Maritime or naval systems as well as tangible experience selling or creating business growth within maritime or naval industry

As part of your role you will be responsible for:
*strategic planning,
*direction and development of maritime business opportunities
*leading new strategic initiatives to ensure long term sustainable growth
*Leadership for UK maritime strategy, business development and capture activities.
*Identification of UK military maritime business opportunities in line with the Air & Naval team's long-term strategic vision.

You will have the following experience
*Business Development experience in a defence maritime related industry sector;
*A collaborative leader who unites multi-disciplinary teams (including management leadership) and aligns them around common goals and objectives as they relate to winning and corporate growth
*Business development and capture management
*Proposal development experience
*Knowledge of procurement approaches used in UK Maritime programs and by relevant Supplier base and government agencies.
