Our client is a globally respected Engineering, Design and Project Management consultancy. They work with defence, government and private sector organisations to transform the future of aerospace and defence engineering, understand the security threats they face and help them to develop the strategies to counter them.

Client Manager - Central Government and Law Enforcement

Due to current growth plans, they are looking for a Client Manager to join a dynamic team working on their Central Government and Law Enforcement portfolio, shaping and driving growth across their accounts. The Client Manager will work closely with the wider market account team and delivery teams and will be responsible for leading teams to win work, oversee in-flight work and support wider business growth.

Accountable to the Portfolio Client Director (responsible for a portfolio of accounts), you will deliver revenue and sales and will contribute to the strategy and the wider development of the business.

This is a visible leadership role responsible for the delivery of "Win Work" activity and you will spend much of your time with clients and client-facing teams to identify and create opportunities and building a pipeline.

Responsibilities include:
*Creating a high performing team that is client and sales focused, creating and shaping opportunities with potential clients and driving the pursuit to a successful sale.
*Creating and developing relationships with customers, establishing a personable but delivery focused rapport.
*Forming a deep understanding of clients and their business, enabling movement up the buy-sell hierarchy, resulting in trusted partnerships with clients.
*Horizon scanning to understand current and future trends.
*Leading bid responses and developing attractive technical and commercial propositions

Key Requirements:

*You will have a track record in business development in the Government sector (preferably with a working knowledge of Government frameworks).
*You will ideally bring a track record of delivery in Central Government and Law Enforcement accounts.
*Proven relationship building and influencing skills.
*Client centric solution development.
*You will be a collaborator, able to align groups of stakeholders behind your plans and support and enable them
*You will be commercially and financially astute with experience of profitable £m+ deals.
