Job Description

Our Client have ambitious plans in their Aerospace and Defence market and are looking for a Client Manager to join a dynamic team covering Land and Naval Accounts. You will shape and drive growth in their accounts area. Working closely with the wider market and delivery teams you will be responsible for leading teams to win work and supporting wider business growth.

As a key member of the account leadership team, the Client Manager will be accountable to a Client Director. Able to engage clients and competitors, strategic partners and supply chains, the Client Manager will bring significant collaborative and leadership capability alongside their drive to achieve growth.

Responsibilities include:
*Creating a high performing team that is client and sales focussed, creating and shaping opportunities with potential clients and driving the pursuit to a successful sale.
*Creating and developing relationships with customers, establishing a personable but delivery focused rapport.
*Forming a deep understanding of our clients and their business, such that we can move up the buy-sell hierarchy and become trusted partners to our clients.
*Horizon scanning to understand current and future trends.
*Leading bid responses and developing attractive technical and commercial propositions

Key Requirements

*You will have a track record in business development in the Defence market or undertaken military service
*You may also bring a track record of delivery in relevant capabilities and accounts.
*Proven relationship building and influencing skills.
*Client centric solution development.
*You will be a collaborative operator, you will be able to align groups of stakeholders behind your plans and support and enable them
*Commercially and financially astute with experience of profitable £m+ deals.
