Your experience in Verification & Validation and certification activities will help you work in a fast paced development programme to lead a team delivering an air defence capability to the UK customer. As a command and control verification & validation lead you'll have the chance to help with the design of weapons system by leading a team of engineers to deliver the V&V milestones.

About the job:

Our client currently requires the services of a command and control verification & validation lead to manage and lead a team of engineers to deliver the V&V milestones. The role will include;
*Manage and lead the V&V activities for the Task Group sub-systems, providing strategic and tactical direction.
*Record and communicate the strategy through the Design Assurance Plan (DAP).
*Coordinate across other task groups to ensure efficient identification, generation and review of common software and hardware evidence.
*Manage creation and population of each sub-system's V&V artefacts such as the Design Verification Plan (DVP) and Requirement Verification Module (RVM).
*Manage the creation of the Scenario & Test Definition as inputs to the Software Joint Proving Team (JPT).
*Coordinate with the Operations Test & Evaluation team to ensure the generation and collation of the hardware related evidence meets the necessary timescales and quality.
*Manage the production of all design certification compliance and documentation for Product Trials Clearance Certificates (PTCC) and Certificates of Design (CofD).
*Be the focal point for the Task Groups Non Compliance management activities, managing stakeholder expectations and establishing impact and mitigations.
*Liaise with Design Authorities, internal customers and Company signatories to ensure smooth acceptance of Certification Documentation.
*Support Design Reviews and Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
About you:
As a verification & validation lead your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
*Proactive approach to all activities with a willingness to listen and learn
*Excellent forward planning skills in order to foresee and mitigate problems, and identify opportunities to deliver the sub-systems ahead of time and cost and to the required quality.
*Willingness to grow network and liaise with a wide number of UK, IT and Customer stakeholder, ranging from graduates to execs.
*Ability to analyse problems and provide robust solutions.
*Excellent formal and informal communication skills.
*Delivery of allocated requirement specifications on time, with the required quality.
*Utilisation of current network and experience to add value to the Task Group activities.
*Willingness to support additional Task Group activities as they materialise.
*Experience in V&V and certification activities.
