Your experience as a commercial manager will help your delivery of offset and industrial participation obligations on contracts within the area of responsibility and lead business area team negotiations on all commercial aspects with allocated customers to minimise liabilities and maximise opportunities. As well as this having some experience in Managing contract negotiation and implementation, contract performance, change proposals and contract dispute resolution will go along way.

As part of your role you will be responsible for:
Ensure timely inputs are entered into company information systems, database logs and company intranet.
Instruction of/ creation of NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) preparation and compliance with procedures and review of issues arising
Review and vet all business area commercial agreements and proposals prior to Senior Commercial
Ensure all employees are aware of corporate and company standards in contract drafting and negotiation.
Business agreement preparation and execution (including Teaming, Confidentiality, Licence)
Support functional and business initiatives
Propose changes to processes and practices to improve work efficiency
Provide bid support to follow on and new business (incl. major bids)
Support the Business Unit management team members to identify opportunities and create business strategies.
You will have the following experience
Extensive MoD contracting experience
Demonstrable extensive contract drafting experience
Excellent working knowledge of terms and conditions and contractual law
Experience of negotiating/managing software licenses
Contract management and customer relationship management experience
Able to offer flexible solutions to commercial challenges
Good awareness of commercial and contract management processes and procedures with an ability to generate audit trails and present approvals to senior management
Ability to draft clear and compelling commercial proposals, contract terms & conditions plus other commercial documentation
