As a Commissioning & Service Engineer your responsibility will be to commission and service equipment to a high standard. You will be working as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary organisation to consistently deliver first class support to the projects in hand and support the service side of the company.

About the job:
Work within the commissioning and service team to ensure that the functional design intentions are realised.
Assisting engineering and technical staff with both existing and new designs by attending design reviews and feeding back lessons learnt or personal experiences.
Create and carry out thorough test procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests and Final Commissioning to ensure that equipment works as intended.
Troubleshooting: Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults
Suggest improvements and offer advice on Operation and Maintenance procedures and applicable Technical Publications.
Schedule and coordinate work scopes under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Liaising with installation/project engineers to ensure any issues are closed out
Compiling reports and documentation to log daily activities and problems incurred on site to feedback to the project team for budgeting and lessons learnt.
Awareness of Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental standards and processes related to ensure safe working conditions
Competent traveller & prepared to travel on short notice.
Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft package, Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Capable of working within a pressurised environment.
Good MS office knowledge, namely Word and Excel.
Good working knowledge of graphics and CAD 2D/3D software and file formats (AutoCAD/Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalents) would be advantageous.
Sound understanding of technical drawings
Knowledge or experience in the offshore, oilfield or marine industries would be desirable but not essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge is a must, electrical and software knowledge would be advantageous.
