Cyber Business Development Manager

Cyber security attacks are growing in severity and sophistication, 0 days are nightmares! I have 2 fantastic roles within Incident-Response that will help keep the UK secure as well as highly sensitive information!

Attackers are well resourced, clever and highly motivated, often understanding aspects of security technology better than IT managers. The scale of the threat to organisations is huge.

My client's products and solutions are so good that they have had to grow the team of cyber security experts, developers and analysts based in Cheltenham.

My client are seeking a technology focused Business Development Manager to join an existing team, working in the field of Managed Security Services, to increase My client's commercial customer base.

We are looking for a candidate who thrives on challenge and is enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment, who can support our business with the next phase of growth. We're looking for a self-motivated and professional sales person, responsible for generating their own leads and opportunities across the UK, for the promotion and selling of My client Services. You will be responsible for business development, an element of account management, reporting and up-selling. To be successful in this role it is important that you have a proven track record of working in a new business sales environment, with a track record of achieving, or over achieving revenue targets. Ideally you will have a strong interest in technology and a consultative selling approach.

Key Responsibilities

*As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities.
*You will be responsible for generating your own leads and closing out new business sales from inception to completion, as well as following up inbound marketing leads.
*Attending prospect meetings and managing all aspects of the sales cycle to completion.
*Researching organisations and markets to develop new prospects, leads and opportunities.
*Produce strategy and business plans to penetrate specific target markets.
*Maintaining accurate customer records
*Understand existing customer needs and proactively provide updates, insights, reporting and additional knowledge to grow the relationship.
*Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities

Background and Understanding

*Consultative and insights-based selling skills
*Strong interpersonal skills, understanding how to develop and maintain business relationships
*Interest and understanding of technology, particularly Cyber Security
*Communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, for writing, speaking, listening and presentations

Overview

Role:Cyber BDM
Location:Cheltenham area (no travel required)
Salary:DOE (up to £100k OTE) + excellent benefits
