Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cyber UK Financial Controller within a well-known European specialist in cyber security based in Newport, South Wales. The successful candidate will report to the Cyber UK Finance Manager (Team Lead), as part of the international Cyber Finance and Commercial team. You will be working in a challenging environment, at a variety of levels from month end reporting to reporting and presenting to senior management / board level.

As a lead specialist in the cyber security sector, the company provides a global cyber defence approach that dynamically aims to protect, detect and respond the cyber threats with a portfolio including managed security services, industrial control system offerings, encryption, key management and consultancy services. Their mission is to protect governments, military, organisations and critical national infrastructure from cyber threats.

About the Role
*Project Finance Control & Reporting: Accompany the project manager, perform EAC (Estimate at Completion), project reviews and reporting
*Reporting and Planning: Perform monthly reporting for various Projects and Cost Centres within the Cyber UK management unit, including comparison Actuals vs Budget, analysis of variances.
*Coordinate and contribute to the planning process (Operative Planning and Forecast).
o Budgetary Control: Project & Cost Centre controlling, including Actuals vs Budget,
*Plan, Forecast, hourly rates, support of price audit
*Commercial administrative system support
*Drive improvement and standardisation
*International transverse role within the Cyber Finance and Commercial team
*Working alongside the commercial team in the UK

You will have the following experience

*Recognised finance qualification
*Able to work fluently on IT systems including excel, outlook and PowerPoint.
*Strong communication skills at all level - able to work calmly under pressure and keep to deadlines
*Proven commercial and business experience
*Willingness and a can-do attitude to meet the challenges that may arise with the running of a fast-moving international business.
*Some SAP experience (desirable, but not essential)
*A strong individual who will ensure that best financial practices are adhered to.
*Good analytical skills.
*Must have existing UK - SC security clearance, or be capable of attaining UK SC clearance
