Job Description

Your experience as a Compliance / Quality auditor and flight operations background will be highly valuable to my client, a world leading supplier of critical control solutions for military and commercial Aerospace customers.

As a Flight Operations Auditor, you will be directly responsible to the Compliance Manager - Fixed Wing, or, Compliance Manager - Rotor Wing for ensuring continued accreditation to the requisite Aviation Regulations, allowing successful delivery of Customer requirements, also providing an Operational, Regulatory and International Standards focal point.

Responsibilities for this job will include:

Compliance Assurance

*Provision of Compliance Assurance and Monitoring for all Flight and Ground Operation Capabilities in accordance with:
oCAP 393 Air Navigation Order
oEASA Standardised European Rules of the Air (SERA)
oEASA Part ORO
oEASA Part FCL
oEASA Part CAT
oEASA Part SPO
oEASA Part ARO
oEASA Part TCO
oEASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO)
oICAO Technical instructions
oMAA Regulatory Articles
*Provision of Compliance Assurance and Monitoring for all Quality/Business Management Systems in accordance with:
oISO 9001
oAS9100
*Performance of Internal Compliance Audits against Civil & Military Regulatory requirements as identified on the Annual Audit Plan.
*Performance of External Supplier Audits against Civil & Military Regulatory requirements and International Standards as identified on the Annual Audit Plan.
*Management of Non-conformances raised from audits, assuring effective and timely Remedial action.
*Management of Company Authorisation System.
*Monitoring of Regulatory Legislation and International Standards, ensuring timely review and update to Company documentation.

Skills and Experience

To be suitable for the Compliance Engineer position, you will ideally need a Aviation Operational Qualification, or suitable equivalent and to already hold a Lead or internal Auditor Qualification - ISO 9001 or similar. You must have excellent knowledge of Civil and Military Aviation Regulations - EASA, FAA, MAOS, etc… as well as good knowledge of Industry Standards - ISO 9001, AS9100. Experience in performing audits within the Civil and/or Military Aviation environment is needed as is experience in Safety Management System management within an aviation or engineering environment, and Quality Management System management within an aviation environment.
