Job Description
Their UK Engineering team focuses mainly on patented DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and digital repeater solutions.
As a Software-Defined Radio Engineer your main responsibilities will involve:
*Designing, developing, modifying and evaluates digital electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for digital electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
*Develop the code to provide the functionality of the product. If there is new product development, then this person will be working with the Architects to define the functionalities.
*Assembling the prototype equipment, embedding the code and checking the functionality.
*Speak directly with customers to understand and implement what the customer wants.
*Producing intelligent digital DAS (idDAS - Intelligent Digital DAS)
About you:
*Educated to Degree level.
*O-RAN and C-RAN knowledge
*Filter synthesis knowledge
*VHDL and C++ programming.
*Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) standards define an interface between Radio Equipment Control (REC) and Radio Equipment (RE).
*Experience of working with Analogue
*An understanding of EMC and power supply.
*Have analogue software-defined radio expertise and a radio engineering background (not just digital signal processing)
Position - FPGA Engineer - Permanent
Location - Buckinghamshire
Salary - Negotiable depending on experience
