Job Description
This position requires an appreciation of the role of Human Factors within multi-disciplinary projects and the ability to plan and deliver Human Factors activities as part of a wider programme.
Knowledge & Experience Required
Technical Leadership
Ideally you will have UK Defence sector experience
A degree level education (upper second class or above) in a Human Factors related degree or equivalent and ideally an MSC or PHD
Development of Human Factors Requirements
Task Analysis
Human Machine Interface and Human Computer Interface Design
Human Performance Assessment Methods.
Ability to develop HF strategies for complex systems, from both a technical and commercial perspective.
Experience of delivering HF activities, particularly during the early concept and design stages of the project lifecycle.
A good understanding and track record of undertaking formal HF analyses as applied to engineering programmes.
Experience of direct liaison with customers.
