Job Description

I am looking for a resilient International payroll and benefits specialist to support the transfer of current payroll and benefits provided of this matrixed SME engineering organisation.

About the Role

Help develop and support process implementation and improvements to support of effective payroll transfer and delivery across 15 countries including setting up of new entities, new benefits and implementing global programs.
Responsible for managing and storing benefits and payroll data in different languages, currencies and formats
Delivery timely and accurate data and reports against marked project milestones and following GDPR requirements
Support internal stakeholders (to ensure timely payroll and benefits transactions are processed effectively and efficiently.
Ensuring payrolls are processed in line with local legislation and statutory reports are accurate and on time
Ensuring all processes and procedures are adequately documented to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
Partnering with all payroll stakeholders to maintain ongoing relationships
Support Managing the ongoing benefits vendor management and administration of various benefit programs and assists with projects and initiatives as required
Identify opportunities to improve existing processes leveraging technology where possible.
Manage invoice reconciliation and purchase order creation for new/existing vendors

You will have the following experience:

Project management and international payroll knowledge are required to maximise output and to see project through to completion. International benefits and vendor management experience a plus
Graduate, ideally finance or business or related subject
Strong team player with cross-group collaboration experience
Organised, demonstrates a high level of drive and ability to work unsupervised
Tenacity to overcome obstacles and deal with ambiguity
Change Oriented and ability to prioritize
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential
Must have ability to effectively use data. Advance Excel and PowerPoint skills
In depth of knowledge of international payroll activities
Benefits administration and experience with vendor management a plus
Project Management skills
Fluent in English. A second foreign language would be useful, in particular German
