The role will involve providing day to day support and customer interaction for break fix and troubleshooting issues including proactive maintenance for applications and services. Also you will be working providing Impact/Risk Assessment to the Change Control Board, and resolving to criticality levels as appropriate, whilst defining areas of improvements and opportunities and following quality management procedures in a process-driven team.

About the job:
*Responsible for defining the priorities for the development of the Service Desk and the Shared Data environment supporting the main programme.
*Troubleshooting and Maintenance of the programme data through the Service Desk management system.
*Assisting other members of the support team in matters associated with Change & Release Management
*Monitoring and replying to any programme request for change VIA the Service Desk Management System
*Liaising with 2nd Line and 3rd Line Support, Problem Manager for the completion of Changes and Releases
*Update End-Users on Request for Change results
*Contribute and provide forward Schedule of Change and Risk/Impact Assessments to the Change Control Board
Required Skills & Abilities:-Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
*Practical experience of managing Requests for Change through to completion Excellent written and communication skills
*Database Administration experience
*Excellent Customer Service skills
*Good problem solving skills
*Good all round IT skills
*Practical Knowledge of ITIL V3
Required Education & Experience
A HND in an IT related discipline or related field is preferable or College level education with significant background and experience in IT
