These roles require people with an understanding of how to realise systems requirements and needs into designs suitable for communicating with a range of stakeholders including; systems engineers, data scientists, software engineers, model and business analysts etc.

About The Job
Translating designs and test cases into testable models.
Collecting, processing and managing data (quality) to support complex models.
Developing test scenarios and procedures to explore different candidate architectures and design ideas.
Through understanding, recommend changes, modifications and propose new ideas on both system design and model development and implementation.
Support the development of a proprietary software tool by contributing knowledge and experience of how a user would need to interact with a tool to build effective results.
Use of developed proprietary tool for the purpose of gaining insights into possible future energy system architectures.
Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (Software, systems, physical science, mathematics)
Experience of developing in MATLAB / Simulink environment is essential.
Proven understanding of configuration and change management is desired.
Experience of structured databases (e.g. Mongo, SQL) is advantageous.
Previous experience in the energy sector, or related fields will be advantageous.
Previous experience of development using agile methodologies is highly advantageous.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
