Due to expansion of the business, my client is seeking multiple Project Planners to become instrumental within projects, working with engineers, project managers and all other areas of the project business team to plan, supply, analyse and manage project information on behalf of the various stakeholders. As a Project Planner, your main responsibilities will be/include:
*Practice, promote and uphold standards of planning and scheduling
*Analysing Schedule and Cost performance, determining variance and its respective causes, and providing mitigating options if required
*Support the bid team in the production of robust schedules, cost and resource plans
*Challenge project performance data and create accurate reports
*Developing strong working relationships with project managers, engineers and to broader associates to embed Project Control standards into projects
*Drive robust Risk and Opportunity management
*Support the growth of Project Planning/Scheduling and Control through innovation
*Add valued analysis to Project decisions
*To work on a wide variety of project phases covering all stages of the life-cycle

Successful candidates will have/be:
*Experience in planning and industry standard planning techniques
*Experience in successful planning of complex technical projects with large activity schedules
*Experience in enterprise business management tools and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
*Ability to analyse performance data and define root variance causes and impacts
*Skilled in risk analysis, critical path analysis, and flow path analysis
*Develop good working relationships with team members within Technical and Project Teams
*Demonstrable communication skills to all levels, capable of working in an integrated multi-functional team
*Pro-active team player who can inspire others
*Skills in Scheduling Tools (i.e. Primavera, MS Project) and Risk Management Tools (i.e. ARM, Predict) are highly desirable.
