Our client is looking to expand its Pressurized water reactors (PWRs) and Systems Engineering team. They are ideally looking for talented individuals with a background in UK PWR generating plants (SZB) and New Build technologies such as HPC/SZC/Bradwell B and Advanced Nuclear Technologies (ANT) such as SMRs and AMRs.

There are several roles available at different grades dependent on individuals' expertise and experience.

We are seeking individuals with expertise across several PWR related technology areas and client bases, in particular those with specific PWR plant and systems knowledge who are adaptable to perform in a number of the following roles:

-Project Engineers - support to client projects/programmes to provide engineering assistance to system design, substantiation, equipment qualification etc. across existing generation sites, new build programmes and ANT.

-Safety Case Practitioners - authorship and/or verification of safety case documentation in support of system design, substantiation, installation of equipment, site licensing etc.

-Technical Engineering Leads - to provide technical leadership and ownership of specific plant item design, substantiation and qualification of equipment for both nuclear generation plant modifications and nuclear new build programmes.

-Lifetime Management - to support LTO (Long Term Operation), management planning, ageing and degradation, obsolescence and LMS (Lifetime Management Strategies) for operating plant.

-Asset Management/Integrity - support to both existing generation sites and new build programmes in the management of nuclear and nuclear-related plant and systems.

-Support to Regulator (ONR) - senior level support to regulator in the assessment of plant design, plant modifications, safety case, and site licensing considerations.

Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens.
