About the job:
The client requires Quality Engineers and Inspectors at all levels to provide independent assurance that all business procedures, maintenance and regulatory standards are being fully complied with and to develop processes to minimise quality escapes. This will include the full scope of problem solving from leading such events, through to interacting with customers, both internally and externally, as well as dealing with technical issues and facilitating improvements. These jobs include:
*Support a climate of continuous improvement.
*Undertake planned assurance activities including the performance process, product and compliance audits on both new product introductions as well as existing capabilities.
*Perform proactive and regular operational activity surveillance promoting best practice as well as highlighting areas for improvement with a view to minimising the likelihood of quality escapes.
*Assist the Operations, Engineering and all Support functions in the quality system and product investigation cycle as deemed necessary by Quality Management.
*Ensure that any planned corrective / preventative actions are implemented within the desired timeframe and they are suitably robust to prevent recurrence of future similar and related quality escapes.
*Compilation of contract specific Quality Assurance documentation and Quality Management Plans and Procedures ensuring such comply with Regulatory Authority, Customer and Third Party requirements.
*Assisting the Quality Assurance department with the attainment and maintenance of all new product introduction and existing company approvals.
*Assist in the management of the Company Non-Conformance Reporting System (Q-Pulse).
*Support Company process / efficiency improvement events.
*Influence and support all areas of the business in delivering Customer satisfaction.
To be suitable for the Quality Engineer / Inspector job, you will have proven Quality experience preferably operating in an aerospace environment such as ISO9001, AS/EN9100, AS/EN9110, MAOS, DAOS, EASA Part-21(G) & EASA Part-145. The ideal candidate will have QMS implementation or inspection experience to recognised aerospace standards, along with a proven background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques. You will be qualified to HNC level (or equivalent) and for the higher level roles will be a chartered or certificated quality professional.
