Job Description

Your experience as a Quality Technician or Inspector and knowledge of quality management systems, will play a crucial part in carrying out all repair and overhaul on the Quick Engine Change Version H product line.

You will be working for a global leader in aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul, providing responsive, quality support for turbine engines, components, fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.

About the job:

The client requires Quality Technicians and Inspectors to provide independent assurance that all procedures, maintenance and regulatory standards are being fully complied with during all repair/overhaul on the Quick Engine Change product line. These jobs include:

*Within his or her trade, qualification and authorisation boundaries, conduct all work in accordance with company approved source information (ASI).
*Carry out work effectively and safely, to plan.
*Actively contribute to the team delivery of agreed targets and goals.
*Attend and contribute to team meetings
*Support a climate of continuous improvement to assist Utilisation (Productivity), Quality and Lean.
*To perform or assist with quality inspection.
*To achieve maximum flexibility, team members will undertake training and train other team members.
*Ensure debris generated in work area is removed / cleaned in a timely fashion.
*Mentor / train any apprentices as and when necessary.

About You:

To be suitable for the Quality Technician/ Inspector jobs, you will have proven Quality experience preferably operating in an aerospace environment such as ISO9001, AS/EN9100, AS/EN9110, MAOS, DAOS, EASA Part-21(G) & EASA Part-145. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of aircraft structural repairs, and experience of aircraft documentation practices and significance. Inspectors will need inspection or audit experience and will ideally be a qualified internal auditor. You will also need Human Factors training.
