recently winning tenders in the region of £5milion to deliver broadband to residents in South Somerset has brought around the need for an experienced Reporting & Compliance Officer to take responsibility for ensuring the contract is delivered in line with the specifications and reported back to the awarding body concisely and accurately. Reporting into the Programme Lead you will act as an appropriate and professional point of contact for any council correspondence about progress and reports as well as any other compliance related issues across the business. You will be ambitious and driven with experience of managing regulatory and contract compliance within Infrastructure, Renewables, Utilities, Civils or Highways.
Key Requirements & Experience
-Demonstratable understanding of Legal Terms and Conditions
-Experience managing the reporting and compliance of a large, regulated project
-Possess strong people skills with proven experience of liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
-Ability to manage conflicting priorities
-Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
-Strong knowledge of relevant industry processes and regulations
-Good understanding of risk management
-An analytical mindset with excellent organisational skills
-Schedule and perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes
-Implement and manage a testing program that ensures the contract is being delivered in line with specifications
-Maintain accurate reports and help produce plans to address non-conformities
-Oversee all business operations relating to compliance and standards
-Design, implement and monitor control systems and recommend effective improvements
-Work with line managers across the business to review all departmental compliance policies
-You will maintain a knowledge of ISO9001:2015 QMS and data protection requirements
-Drive forward collaborative working practices to fulfil the reporting and compliance requirements of the Full Fibre Contract
-Identify and assist with the design and delivery of training events and provide coaching to develop and improve delivery staff effectiveness and understanding of contractual / delivery compliance requirements
