About the job:
They currently require graduates through to professional engineers to work within the Requirements and Acceptance Team based in Bristol. You will adopt Industry recognised Systems Engineering methods and techniques to meet clients needs. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully adopting Systems Engineering skills and leading teams. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a team to campaign for work, write winning proposals, deliver work to time, budget and customer satisfaction, and support the development of junior staff.
Training and development along with project opportunities will be provided to promote individual growth in line with the candidate's career aspirations. There will be opportunities for project management and responsibility to write winning proposals and lead the successful project delivery. The role will be client facing and successful candidates are expected to work in a dynamic, fast paced consultancy environment.
To be suitable for the Requirements and Acceptance Engineer roles, you will have knowledge and experience of Systems Engineering;. You will need;
*Experience providing Systems Engineering support in different stages within a project (e.g. Identification of customer needs, defining systems to meet the customer needs, producing verification plans, managing acceptance of systems, supporting systems in service);
*Ability to think at the Systems Level, particularly the identification of Non-Functional / enabling needs - not only focused on the functional solution;
*Good communication skills (written and oral);
*Knowledge in using a requirements management tool;
*A relevant engineering degree to support working as a Systems Engineer.
It is to your advantage if you meet any or all the following additional requirements:
*Industry recognised Systems Engineering knowledge and skillset (e.g. INCOSE ASEP or similar, practitioner in other requirements / MBSE tools);
*Knowledge and experience of using Model Based Systems Engineering techniques to support the development of Requirements Documentation;
*Project management skills;
*Facilitation skills to foster a team approach, manage effective meetings and encourage stakeholder engagement.
