Are you currently looking for your next challenge and progression as I'm currently recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join my client who is an Integrated Systems and a market-leading secure communication systems company.

About the Role
*To identify and secure contract opportunities for domestic and international markets.
*To support the development and implementation of strategies in national and international markets to ensure continued growth.
*Input to the development and preparation of the rolling 5-year Strategy on an annual basis.
*Development and implementation of strategies and campaigns to effectively capture these opportunities leading to contract award.
*Input to the development of the Order Intake and Marketing Budgets on an annual basis.
*Identification of opportunities in the domestic and international market.
*Development of concepts and solutions in conjunction with the Engineering Department for offers and products. Development of product and technology roadmaps in conjunction with the Engineering Department.
*Support to Operations in the pursuit of additional opportunities in CLS and manufacturing. Support to Production Engineering in the development of suitable, useable and cost-effective solutions for the world market.
*Identification of appropriate organisations and capabilities in the wider marketplace as targets for teaming or acquisition, and/or for the prosecution of specific markets, regions or opportunities.
*Monitoring of capability across the business and identification of opportunities for value-adding in technologies, systems, products or capabilities.
*Uphold, safeguard and promote company's values and philosophy, particularly in regard to ethics, integrity and corporate responsibility in accordance with company guidelines.
*Securing Bid and Proposal funding from the Budget
*Operating within the agreed Bids & Proposal budget for assigned bids, ensuring targets are met and budgetary limits are maintained.
*Monitoring and reporting on customer and competitor movements in the market place and reflecting these into opportunity pursuits
*Creating and maintaining customer, partner and key supplier relationships to support opportunity development
*Establishing the "price to win" and monitoring the "probability of win" and "probability of go/ no-go" of opportunities
*Maintaining and managing an accurate opportunity pipeline
*Representing the business and the group at exhibitions and events domestically and internationally

You will have the following experience:

*Professional, with the ability to interact directly with senior customer representatives
*Degree educated, science/ engineering discipline
*Prior experience in a relevant Sales & Marketing role
*Defence sector experience
*Delivery of complex systems in a systems-integrator (Tier 2) capacity
*Excellent communication skills and networking ability
*Frequent domestic and international travel
*Flexible working conditions
*Copes well under pressure
