Job Description

This pivotal role reports into the Business Development Director and will drive all elements of business development and support capture management for Our clients Maritime ISR and Cyber & Intelligence campaigns, and both the Royal Navy and Joint Forces Command (JFC) accounts. This BD role is ideally suited to a High ranking and commissioned Naval officer looking to leave the military to take on a strategic role using their military experience to drive opportunity.
As Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Corporate BD leads(s) to develop strategies and market opportunities within the UK and Europe, focusing on the maritime environment and those capabilities relevant to the Royal Navy and JFC customers, including military intelligence.
You'll also assist in the development of a Long Range Strategic Plan for the UK and Europe Defence market(s), establishing the appropriate business cases to justify sector commitment and investments, prioritising as appropriate to ensure the corporation is focused upon establishing high probability business wins with maximum returns and customer longevity.

Better still if you have a good level of emotional intelligence and can thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment.
If you also possess solid experience in product, service and solution selling within the defence, security and government related industry, of managing UK and international business development portfolios (£10M up to £100M), this would be an advantage.
