Job Description
My client is a multinational corporation who specialise in managing complex assets and infrastructure. They provide critical, complex engineering services which supports national defence, saves lives and protects communities.
Key Responsibilities
*Provides support to the Principal QA Engineer in the review of Quality Plans and maximising resource utilisation factors relevant to the business area.
*Provides coaching and support in relation to assurance and improvement activities in support of overall business delivery.
*Provides advice and guidance on the findings of independent assurance activities and reports to the organisation on levels of compliance, recommending corrective and preventive actions as appropriate.
*Reviews achievement of the quality plan and recommends preventive, corrective and improvement actions.
*Identifies risks and opportunities associated with the organisations processes and products.
*Uses a range of measurement tools and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, in order to assess and report on the organisation, department or project achievement of its quality plans, goals and targets.
Key Skills & Experiences
*Experience of Quality Management auditing in a technical/manufacturing environment
*Some knowledge of manufacturing processes including welding, machining, NDT, pressure testing and electrical assembly
*Able to review technical documentation, with a good eye for detail
*Able to understand engineering drawings, procedures and specifications of all disciplines.
*A full UK driving licence
*Hold the minimum of an HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject
*Possess a recognised Engineering or Quality qualification/certificate (I Eng, PCQI)
*Qualified ISO9001 Lead Auditor (UKAS Accredited)
