As a consultancy, the client undertakes work across many industries, supporting clients from the evaluation of concepts to life extension and decommissioning. Depending on your experience, you will be involved in the technical delivery and leadership of analysis projects, technical oversight, review of the work of other staff and developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
In addition to an in depth understanding of the fundamental principles of stress analysis, it would be advantageous if you could also demonstrate experience in one or more of the following:
Implicit / explicit finite element analysis (FEA) packages such as Abaqus, ANSYS, LS-Dyna
Integrity assessment approaches including design substantiation, fitness for service, remaining life, root cause analysis
Experience in the use of and understanding of the basis and limitations of codes and standards associated with integrity assessments (e.g. ASME, API and BS standards)
Pipe stressing using CAESAR II ADLPipe, PSA5 etc.
Dynamic analysis, including Shock, Blast, Impact and Seismic
Vibration and system dynamics.
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are looking for those from Engineer to Senior Consultant level, with demonstrable experience noted on your CV
We are looking for someone with a top-level Masters qualification or equivalent
The team work predominantly in Naval, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Rail, and Nuclear, so we would consider people across all industries
Ideally you will have consultancy experience, or significant experience leading your own technical projects.
