They are currently looking to recruit a Trade Compliance Co-ordinator on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for preparing clearance instructions for imported goods and UK/export shipping paperwork and supporting the wider Trade Compliance Management team.

About the job:
*Provide UK Customs clearance instructions to the freight forwarders for all non-EU imports
*Coordinate the collection of all supporting Customs documentation for all non-EU imports
*Provide the necessary Customs documentation to support employees' programme-related imports from within the EU
*Act as primary interface for shipping and Customs issues
*Assist the Trade Compliance Department (TCD) with the management of the UK Duty
*Waiver and Inward & Outward Processing Relief on all applicable transactions
Assist the TCD with preparing and raising UK Export Licence and HM Customs documentation
*Maintain a full understanding of which UK export licences are to be used for the export of hardware, software and technical data
*Support the establishment and implementation of processes and procedures associated with UK import / export compliance
*Maintain procedure and records to demonstrate control of exports to meet HMRC and / or Corporate audits and other company standards
*Maintain good relationships with employees in other functions to promote trade compliance
*Ensure shipping process flow is smooth and completed in a timely manner
Support TCD with any Compliance related tasks
*Experience of preparing import clearance instructions and export paperwork in a timely manner which complies with UK and any other applicable Countries export/import legislation is desirable but not essential since full training will be given
*Knowledge of US export controls would be ideal but training can be provided
*You will be Self-confident, and an ability to express yourself articulately, to address personnel at all levels in the company to explain UK export compliance
