As the UK Lead for Indirect Procurement, you will lead the procurement team in charge of the sites services and of engineering services, operating with a significant budget.

As the UK Lead for Indirect Procurement, your main responsibilities will be/include:
Leading the procurement team in the procurement of indirect products and services for both projects and the business, such as Sites services, engineering services, IM, HR, Communication, Travel and Consultancy.
To lead and manage a team across all procurement activities in order to establish and maintain the procurement plan strategy, roadmap and optimisation for UK facility management, Sites Services, Logistics and UK engineering services through.
Develop and maintain supply market knowledge, and contribute in bringing latest market trends innovations in terms of business model or service delivery.
To organise the collaboration with Stakeholders and ensure the business' services or needs roadmap is fully taken into account in the categories procurement strategies.
Developing sourcing strategies, applying competitive and innovative methodologies to drive better quality of service and cost optimisation, whilst introducing a strong set of terms and conditions with the suppliers.
Managing Suppliers Performance and risks to ensure on-time delivery of projects.

Successful candidates will have/be:
A Procurement Professional with a proven competencies and broad knowledge of the domain categories (technical and contractual), specifically in professional services and sites Services Procurement.
Ideally educated either to degree level or with an equivalent professional qualification. (MCIPS would be ideal)
Enthusiastic, proactive and adaptable individual able to work within a demanding and changing environment and to deal with complex situations and effectively influence senior stakeholders.
A natural leader and communicator, able to build strong relationships, with experience in driving multi-functional teams and delivering to tight time-scales, ideally with experience of working internationally.
The ability to work within a very broad range of topics, with a wide range of contracts ranging from short turnaround low value to strategically important service contacts.
Competent contract negotiator with ability to draft contract agreements and approve terms and conditions.
Team management expertise and excellent team building skills, able to assist in the training, leading and advising of team members.
