My client, a world leader in the defence sector, requires a Thermal Engineer to join them in Stevenage and work as part of a team on thermal engineering and analysis solutions for their missile and weapon systems, helping to shape the development of their thermal analysis capabilities.
Thermal Engineer
This is a great opportunity to deliver your expertise across multiple, technically challenging project, working with others to derive solutions to thermal problems in cutting-edge technology. You will be able to work on a variety of projects that will stretch your skills and imagination as an Engineer in the Thermal Analysis Team.
To be considered for this role, applicants will need to be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject with previous experience on a role requiring considerable thermal engineering aspects. You will have good problem-solving skills coupled with a sound fundamental knowledge of heat transfer analysis using computational methods and manual calculations, as well as the application of CAE tools (e.g. ANSYS, MATLAB, Python) to investigate heat transfer problems. You will be a motivated and organised individual with strong interpersonal skills.
