My client is looking for a highly innovative and talented Electronics Engineer to join their team based in the Bristol Area / South West. This role is with a company that undertake exciting Technology Research & Development projects for a variety of clients and sectors.

You would always be forging ahead and pushing boundaries and keeping yourself up to date with your CPD. This would suit someone ideally that can identify and assesses new and emerging technologies, products, services, methods and techniques. Can systematically create new knowledge by data gathering, innovation, experimentation, evaluation and dissemination

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sensors and sensor processing technologies
  • Deployment of System on Chip including FPGA
  • Embedded Systems and Microcontrollers
  • Sensors and sensor processing technologies
  • Understanding of Digital Signal Processing techniques and applications
  • Configuration and Development of Software Defined Radios
  • Development of embedded software on Microcontrollers, System on Chip (SoC) devices
  • Experience and exposure of VHDL scripting for FPGA design would be advantageous
  • A thorough understanding of Mobile Networks and Protocols
  • Software development using Python, C and C++
  • Deep understanding of VPN’s, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC
  • Research, innovation and development project skills.
  • Degree educated in Electronic Engineering
