Do you want to use your understanding of Military Engineering processes to help support current Engineering officers and teams and to keep them safe whilst working on exciting safety critical projects? If so, we have a range of opportunities working for an established engineering consultancy who’s specialism is bridging the gap between strategy and operations. They are looking for people who can be customer focussed and help make a difference.
As an Engineering Safety Consultant, my client will work closely with you to gain consultancy skills and develop the strong engineering skills that you already have into a new, engaging and rewarding role. In this role, you’ll use your extensive subject matter expertise to aid the development of products, approaches and services that support their clients with their system assurance requirements. You’ll work across a range of assignments within the Energy, Defence and Government space. As a Systems Engineer, the work you do will have a tangible impact, and you will have extensive opportunities to make your mark delivering effective and enduring solutions for our clients.
Personal Attributes
The successful Engineering Consultant must have experience of working in a technical or engineering role within Weapons Engineering, Marine Engineering or Air Engineering. You’ll be comfortable sharing your expertise and positively challenging those around you when it is needed. You must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills, strategic thinking, a professional approach and a high level of motivation to take on a new role and a new challenge. Knowledge of safety engineering would also be helpful.
