Your experience of materials behaviour and behaviour under process and knowledge of new engineering processes, will play a crucial part in maximising the efficiency and value driven aspects of materials separation processes. Using your expertise in production/process and materials science you will provide vital support for the separation team.

About the Job:

The client requires a Materials and Process Development Engineer to maximise the economic recovery of all the materials that are handled, whether they are metals, plastics, aggregates or others. Utilising Engineering knowledgeable and Analytical ability, the Materials & Process Development Engineer will help drive forward materials separation strategy. This job includes:
Identifying opportunities to introduce new processes, or operate existing processes better
Designing, supervising, analysing and reporting on process trials, at lab, pilot and full scale
Developing trialled concepts into working processes

About You:

To be a good fit for the Materials and Process Development Engineer job, you will need to be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or science discipline and able to show a demonstrable understanding of materials behaviour during processing. You will be experienced in:
Similar material process industry (recycling, mining, quarrying, manufacturing (including food and pharmaceutical etc.)
New process development
The ideal candidate will need a track record in:
Delivering innovative, technically challenging projects
Creating added value from new thinking
Designing and managing process trials
Preparing factual and interpretive reports
Taking samples, sorting samples and preparing samples for third party testing
Collecting, processing and analysing data
