Electus were honoured to take part in the official signing of the Armed Forces Covenant on Tuesday 27th September, 2016 at Bovington Tank Museum, Dorset. The Armed Forces Covenant is a Government initiative allowing businesses to pledge support to armed forces personnel, families and veterans. Electus is the first recruitment agency in Dorset to have signed the covenant.

Andrew Little, Client Development Director, at Electus Recruitment Solutions signed the Covenant alongside Colonel Gordon Judd, Commander Armour & Bovington Garrison. The event was also attended by Lt Col John Godfrey, Commanding Officer The Royal Wessex Yeomanry.

Andrew explains:

'Electus is delighted to be the first recruitment business in Dorset to sign the Covenant and has committed to a range of Armed Forces-friendly initiatives. This is a huge accolade for us and one we are very proud of. We have been working within the UK Defence sector since 2003 and have always actively supported ex-military individuals in finding and securing new and exciting careers. Signing the Armed Forces Covenant formalises this commitment and we look forward to working with the military to help individuals leaving the forces find a career that makes the most of their knowledge, skills and experience”

Electus employs representatives from all three services and has benefited from their extensive transferable skills.  Two ex- forces employees also attended the signing:

Alex Ronald – Senior Consultant (previously Royal Corps of Signals)

Natasha Rowley – Talent Delivery Consultant (previously Leading Communication Information System Specialist, Navy)
