After graduating with a 2.1 in Communications from Bournemouth University, Andrew wanted to combine his desire to work with people and strengths in problem solving into a fast paced and challenging career.
Target driven and results orientated, Andrew joined a specialist aerospace and defence recruiter in the heart of Bournemouth; this is where he met future business partner and long term friend, Mark Day. During his career, Andrew has worked with some of the largest engineering and technical companies in the UK including Airbus, Thales and BAE Systems. His natural talent for recruitment meant fast track progression from trainee to senior consultant within a couple of years.
In 2003, after a year of planning and raising funds, Electus Recruitment Solutions was born. The mission was to create a fun, ethical recruitment company offering clients, candidates and employees a positive, successful and rewarding recruitment experience.
As Director, Andrew’s role is hugely diversified and something that he thrives off. He is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of the company, as well as day-to-day involvement in recruitment activities and performance of the specialist teams. Andrew also heads up the Sales and Marketing function, responsible for the brand development and customer communication strategy.
Andrew loves nothing more than meeting with clients, solving their resourcing issues and receiving feedback to improve Electus’ customer offering and service.

Outside his passion for work, Andrew’s other interests include: good food and wine, travel, playing golf (badly), motor boats and socialising with friends and family.
