Business Development Manager

As a key member of the Defence Acquisition and Support leadership team, you will be responsible to lead the “land” business area.

Responsibilities will include:
 

• Developing a deep understanding of your clients’ needs their business drivers, developing solutions and improvements to meet those needs.
• Maturing and executing a client focused account strategy that supports the achievement of the broader defence strategy.
• Communicating to staff and other key stakeholders on our Account Strategy, including as appropriate, their clients’ needs, challenges and opportunities
• You will be responsible for the business performance of your portfolio, including meeting the expectations for growth.

 
 
About you: 
 

• You will need to have consulting skills, including structured thinking, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A desire to work with their clients and delivery teams to develop creative solutions to key challenges.
• Strong collaborative skills and behaviours.
• Proven relationship building and influencing skills.
• Experience of working within MOD or the Defence Enterprise.
• Ideally you will need to have a Track record in winning, managing or developing large projects.
