Work on safety-critical projects as an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer for this world-renowned consultancy.
This role is for a top global consultancy with over 100 years of design and engineering expertise in a range of industries such as nuclear power, defence, rail and aerospace. This employer understands the importance of work-life balance and offers flexible working with tailored benefits packages.

You will be successful in this role if you are a motivated engineer looking to work on a wide range of safety-critical projects with a focus on EC&I systems.
Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants who meet this criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level

About the Role:
- Design EC&I systems solutions for clients as well as performing end-to-end work related to EC&I systems, including functional safety, design, coding, testing and commissioning.
- Ensure successful delivery of engineering works to time, budget and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with technical input for proposals/tenders.
About You:
- Capable of working on diverse projects under senior supervision.
- Knowledge and experience of a broad range of electrical control equipment and its application in automated and safety-related systems.
- Good knowledge of process systems and how to control them.
- Knowledge of electrical and safety sector standards including BS EN 61508.
- Desirable: Knowledge of PLC programming and system integration, HMI and SCADA configuration and development, and software testing techniques and experience of installation and commissioning of PLC / SCADA systems.
