A leading defence company seeks a highly motivated Electromagnetic Simulation and Modelling Engineer to join their award-winning EMC Project Team in Bristol. About You:
- Holds a higher education degree or possesses significant experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, EMC, or a related field.
- Possesses a strong understanding of either electromagnetics or simulation and modelling principles.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Excels at problem-solving and possesses exceptional analytical skills.
- Maintains a professional demeanor and adapts to evolving company needs.
- Thrives in an autonomous work environment and delivers exceptional results.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of electromagnetic wave phenomena (wave guides, electro-optical devices, coupling, shielding, and absorption).
- Has prior experience with 3D, time-domain, or static FEM simulations (3D CAD and CST modelling experience a plus).
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze and extract meaningful conclusions from complex data sets (experience with MATLAB or Python a benefit).
