Principal Systems Engineer
Take ownership of complex defence systems projects, shaping requirements and influencing technical direction. Lead teams and develop solutions that impact critical programmes.
What you will need
• British Citizen with SC clearable eligibility
• Experience in systems engineering within defence projects
• Consultancy or client-facing experience
Salary and rewards
Up to £75,000
Your role
• Lead requirements engineering across multiple Defence Lines of Development
• Apply model-based systems engineering and system-of-systems architecture
• Provide technical assurance and governance on complex programmes
• Support capability development and team leadership
Your experience
• Proven systems engineering expertise in defence contexts
• Technical capability in MBSE, integrated support, and governance
• Experience guiding teams in consultancy or multi-disciplinary projects
• Ability to shape and influence technical solutions for high-value programmes
Where you will be based
Bristol, 3–4 days per week onsite
