Drainage Investigation Engineer
Take ownership of drainage investigations across Scotland’s Central Belt, delivering solutions and resolving issues with clarity and precision. Work remotely while managing your schedule and projects effectively.
What you will need
• Experience with drainage systems investigation and repair
• Competence using tools such as CCTV cameras and CAT scanners
• Ability to carry out surface reinstatement and small repairs independently
Salary and rewards
£32,381 - £36,353 plus paid overtime, annual bonus and pension contribution
What you will be doing
• Investigate drainage systems and recommend appropriate repairs
• Determine ownership and causes of customer issues
• Complete trial holes and collect soil and root samples
• Liaise with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of projects
Your experience
• Skilled in CCTV camera operation and labelling
• Knowledge of CAT scanning to trace buried services
• Capable of reinstating surfaces including paving slabs, tarmac and concrete
• Confident completing minor repairs such as gullies or pipe sections
