DevSecOps Engineer

You will take ownership of secure automation workflows and infrastructure within a high-assurance defence environment. This role allows you to shape the reliability of critical platforms while enjoying the unique advantages of a business where every employee has a stake in the success.
The essentials

• British citizenship is required for this position.
• Eligibility to undergo Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating systems and containerisation.

What you will work on

• Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines to automate builds and deployments.
• Author reusable infrastructure modules to streamline resource provisioning.
• Implement robust monitoring and incident response solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Resolve deployment vulnerabilities to maintain the security of critical products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the lifecycle.

What you bring

• Strong background in automating on-premise virtualisation and networking systems.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Go, or JavaScript.
• Experience maintaining the operational health of tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents.
