Electrical Architect - Weapon System Equipment

You will take ownership of electrical architecture across key defence systems and shape how complex equipment is defined and integrated. This role gives you room to grow your capability, broaden your technical influence and build a deeper engineering profile through varied lifecycle work.
What you will need:
• Experience working with electrical systems or electrical design, with the ability to understand how power and control elements fit within wider system architecture
• Background in regulated technical environments where you can follow structured engineering processes and maintain clear documentation
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to technical discussions that guide system decisions
Salary and rewards £60,000 - £65,000 per year
Your role:
• Develop and refine electrical architecture for complex defence systems
• Support requirement definition and system integration activities
• Contribute to technical documentation and compliance frameworks
• Work across lifecycle stages to maintain system integrity and performance
Your experience:
• Practical electrical engineering capability that enables you to take part in system modelling, design interpretation or hands-on validation
• Knowledge of power distribution or electrical control systems and how they behave under operational constraints
• Familiarity with certification principles or regulated environments where compliance and traceability guide engineering choices
• Skill in problem solving within multidisciplinary settings where electrical decisions affect mechanical, software or systems domains
• Ability to deliver structured technical documentation that clearly communicates requirements, constraints or design decisions
• Comfortable supporting system integration or validation activities to ensure equipment behaves as expected in real conditions
